April  Society Match Day

The first Society Day of 2008 Summer Season  saw 14 members venture through the Mersey Tunnel and return to the Mersey Valley course where we have played once before.

Unfortunately too much time has passed since the event so our intrepid reporter cannot remember many more details.

Highest Stapleford score Andy Langley with 43 points closely followed by James Arathoon on 41 points and Graham Almond on 39 points. 

Other results for the Day

The Longest Drive was driven by Andy “Yes” Langley,

 ahead of Ian “Yes” Taylor and Alan “Would you Believe it” Bennett, and

The nearest Nearest-the-Pin ball was positioned by Andy “sorry” Langley

Random Card draw Nigel Hall

The Two's was not won so £28 carried over to Pennant Park in May.
